About Cribbage
Cribbage is a free classic two-player card game. Discard to the crib, peg during play, then score hands and the crib. Race to 121 points vs a friend or the computer.
How to play Cribbage
- Each player gets six cards and discards two to the crib (owned by the dealer).
- A starter card is cut; alternate playing cards without exceeding 31, scoring along the way.
- After pegging, count non-dealer's hand, dealer's hand, then the crib with the starter.
- First player to reach 121 points wins the match.
Tips & strategy
- Keep a flexible hand for fifteens and runs; toss carefully into the crib.
- During pegging, watch the count for 15 and 31.
- Pairs and runs in play can swing a deal — track what's been played.
- As pone (non-dealer), avoid feeding the dealer's crib easy points.
