About Gomoku
Gomoku is free five-in-a-row on a 15×15 board. Place stones, block threats, and build your own lines. Play vs a friend on the same device or challenge the computer.
How to play Gomoku
- Players take turns placing one stone on an empty intersection of the 15×15 board.
- The first to get five of their stones in a straight line wins.
- Lines can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
- If the board fills with no five-in-a-row, the game is a draw.
Tips & strategy
- Force double threats your opponent cannot block in one move.
- Play near the center early to keep more line options open.
- Always answer an open four — it wins on the next turn.
- Watch for forks: two threes that become fours at once.
